PhD Student
Zihao Chen is an international student from China, he got his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2020. Now He is pursuing a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering department of University of Minnesota.
Zihao's research is about wave sensing and wave energy capturing. He is currently working on the nonlinear optimal controller and observer design, as well as the simulation of wave energy converter (WEC). In the free time, Zihao enjoys writing novels and poems, he is also interested in learning about the history all around the world.
